Hello from deep in the heart of Texas! New album is coming along in fine fashion. Working on wrapping up the first single, I Hate You... I'm Lying and will have that up as soon as it's ready. I've taken a LONG hiatus from playing shows to concentrate on writing and recording this thing. Hope to be back out there in Fall 2012. I’m fortunate enough to have great friends who also happen to be excellent players joining me under the Bat Lanyard umbrella. Back with me are Michael Jerome Moore, Casey Diiorio, and Paul Jenkins. Spyche Bon Jovi, Cassidy Armstrong and others are also part of the band, and I've hooked up with a few old friends to let the writing ideas flow. Tracking began December 19th, 2010, at Valve Studios in Dallas, Texas, where we recorded my solo LP, The Garden and The Arcade. I'll be thoroughly documenting the days and posting some shots as we move along. Send me the good word: bat at batlanyard dot com Matt
